• The document download requests the employee’s Microsoft credentials. Once entered, the hacker, impersonating a client, gains full control of the email account.
• Once the credentials are entered, the hacker, masquerading as the client, gains full control of the email account..
• Once the email account is compromised, the hacker can discreetly modify billing and payment details for vendors and clients.
